So what I decided to do was to take pieces of my diary and just put em on here. Some days are detailed some are just an outline of what I did...so here we go!! :] The bold is what was in my diary and the not bold is what I'm writing now..
August 2, 2008I left this morning at 11. When I got to the becks Mr. Beck immediately took away my phone :( made me sad :( then we went to the Bergers & went out on the lake in their boat we asked questions and got to know each other better. we ate. had fun. we (girls) all did some crafts for our costumes -fairy princesses. Then we went to the GCC church in Granger it was really good. & big! They had traffic directors for the parking lot. The entire basement was the kids area. They had slides from the main floor to the basements for the kids to slide into their classrooms. They have a bookstore I got three books, they have three pastors at their church. They have 5 sermons a week. When we got back to the house we got Bruno's pizza and now were watching hitch.

We got like two hours of sleep last night. We left at 4 in the morning for our flight to Colorado in Indy. I rode in a car with Mr. & Mrs. Beck and Cassie and Darren and Zach. We had about an hour and a half to wait till we loaded the plane. I wasn't freaking out like I thought I would be. I was kinda scared and then I remembered something Michael told me before my surgery. F.R.O.G.--which is fully rely on God. and then I also remembered that I had God sitting next to me. and it might sound silly-but it was comforting. I'm on the plane right now actually. We've been on for about an hour and 15 min,. we went through a lot of turbulence it lasted a long time like a half an hour or something. its really interesting when we took off how everything got so small like toy trucks and as we got higher how you could barely make out the cars and when I did find some going down a highway they moved so slowly it looked like they were hardly moving-like snails . It really gave me a since of just how big God is. It is also been interesting because I had been doing nothing but looking out the window till it was to cloudy I couldn't see. When we got through the clouds and I looked down the landscape is different. Its a lot more hilly not as many trees and the dirt is more red. Last night was sooo much fun! after we watched hitch Stacey, Abby, Cassie, and I recreated the last dance scene. Then we all danced to Grace Kelly until the guys came upstairs and told us to stop dancing cause they couldn't sleep haha...so then we picked out what we were going to wear, were all sharing clothes. I'm wearing Cassie's black shirt, Abby's red dress, Stacey's earrings, and my black flats. Little mountains are starting and the farms are circles instead of squares or rectangles or w/e.
Its 1:15 our time and 11:15 here so much has happened! I can't believe I've survived on an hour and a half of sleep we've been awake for almost 24 hours! heres the quickest sum up I can do. we got off the plane a half hour early. then we hung out at the airport for two hours and about an hour and a half after we had been there the people from Florida showed up. While we were at the airport Jimmy and Zach went to the bottom floor and nick was on the second floor and dropped skittles into their mouths. On the ride from the airport to the camp was when I was talking to people. Billy and I talked for a long time. When we got to the camp we had the craziest greeting. Everyone was screaming and clapping. our meal was great. and someone put soap in the hot tub. our first session was great! We have a great band its totally like a concert. they do songs you hear on the radio today. The lesson was great! we talked about beauty and stuff. Then we went back to our cabins and changed into dark clothing for our stealthy game thing. It was fun but totally gross. Now I must go to bed.

When we woke up we went straight to breakfast, then we had our cabin competition. We were princesses. Our "cheer" was we are princesses we are princesses we'll blow you kissesess, lol while we chanted that Mrs. Beck and Abby lifted up Cassie and Stacey did a cartwheel while I did a roundoff. Then we had lunch, then some free time. On our free time we went shopping, swimming and I did the blob. and that was fun but I went in like head first. Then I went down the slide. We went on the ropes course. and I was really scared lol but when I remembered what Michael told me frog that kept helping me. Right now I'm sunbathing and journaling and reading my bible. We had dinner and went straight to session. I love the band here! there great! When I walked out I was so excited to see there was a carnival! so Cassie and I grabbed hands and ran towards it after that they had a bonfire. also before the campfire after the carnival us girls had cabin time. and talked about a lot of stuff.

Today Stacey, Abby, Cassie, and I went to watch the sunrise. It was so beautiful, sitting there by the lake watching the sun come over the mountains. we sat there for a full 'nother hour giving each other messages. Then we went back inside. Then I went on a walk and ran into mark. Then we went to the courtyard and waited for breakfast. Then we went to breakfast. Then Stacey, Abby and I went on a walk in the woods. we found this platform and "performed" on it. for like ever. dancing and singing. Then we went back to the one building (the avalanche) where everyone meets. They announced the water Olympics. So we went back to our cabins and changed. Then we went back to the pool. We had some little competition things. We were the green team. and our team chant was Spartans what is your profession?! hoot! hoot! hoot! Then we played whirlpool. with 450 people. In a pool smaller than the plymouth pool. that is a lot of fun. I could not control where I went at all. Then we ate lunch. Then we went mountain biking. That was really fun, but really hard. like I dont think I would have had as much trouble in Indiana. but the air here is so thin you can run 10 ft and be totally out of breath. I couldn't run up my staircase without running out of breath ..the staircase had maybe 13 stairs on it..then I layed out for a lil bit in hopes of a tan but got a burn instead. Then I called some friends. Then we went to the bear claw cafe' and played card games for a couple hours. It was me, Stacey, Abby, Zach, Cassie, Ryan, Billy, and Mrs. Beck. We played lotts of card games. Billy gave me a hat. Then we went to dinner. Then we had our session. After that we had cabin time. Then we had a pirate dance paartay! it was sooo much fun! The pirate dance is probably one of my favorite things that we've done. When we came up to the cabin stacey and abby were singing in the shower they were singing your so vain. Now I really have to go to bed. also I got a new bible today.

Today I woke up at about 7 and went to the bear claw and played fuseball with Travis and won. Then Billy came down and he won the first game and I won the second. Then we played ping pong forever. Then we went and sat on one of the benches near the campfire and the big bell. then we ate breakfast and had the crud wars. The crud wars were really fun but really gross. after they were over we went down to the lake to jump in, but it was so cold I decided not to but mark threw me in. Then we went back to the cabin and cleaned. Then we had a session. it was really heavy. like wow. I think everyone cried. or at least teared up. we had to scarf down lunch and then we left for horse back riding which was amazing. going so far into the forest, up the mountains. It was interesting there were some trees that where marked by bears, My horses name was Georgia. When we got back I went to the bear claw and found Billy, Darren, nick, fuzzy, and some other people. I was really tired and sitting on the coach with fuzzy on one side and billy sitting on the coffee table in front of me. I hadn't said anything for a while and he reached over and grabbed my knee and sorta shook it around and I started freaking out and squirming and sqealing and so thats how like 20 people found out I was ticklish, little do they know my knee is my least ticklish spot. Later we played a game of mafia. Then we ate dinner. Then the "olympics" started, but we didnt sign up for any tournaments so we had the time free for whatever we wanted. I hoola hooped and played frisbee, then travis and I played tether ball and I was rockin then billy came over and cheered for me then I won. Then I played Billy and I would have won but he spun it over my head where I couldnt reach. So I lost and billy came over and gave me a hug, then travis and I went over and played badmitten. I rocked. I didnt know I was so good. Then stacey and another girl joined our game. Then we had a session and cabin time. Then I went to the bonfire and then to the bear claw. Also today was darrens birthday and during dinner tom got a corn muffin and put a green bean in the middle for the candle. and brought it over to Darren. it was so funny! Tom tells him to make a wish and blow out his candle and Darren makes a wish and leans over and slurps up the green bean.

Today was such an amazing day! Totally my favorite. I'll start with the begging though. We got up at 7 and walked to ridge runners and rode, it was fun. I won my race. Then we went to the bear claw and played checkers. I played against Abby and she let me win. and then this guy wanted to play winner, but I didn't want to play again but he REALLY wanted to play with me. His name is Paul. He thought he recognized me. He's from Peoria. So we were trying to figure out were we had met and a few hours later I figured it out. It was at an art show in Peoria. He was playing in the jazz band. I lost my game of checkers badly. Then we had breakfast and during breakfast they played Grace Kelly! we all got up and danced. Right after breakfast we left for our mountain hike. It was hard at parts. although not as hard as what I had been expecting I kept falling a lot. lol. When we got to the top we ate lunch. Then we made our way back down. Going down was really hard. Very steep. I kept falling. Paul and other guys kept catching me. It was so beautiful on the mountain!! When I got back (our hike was 6 hours long) probably the fastest 6 hours of my life..I thought we were gone for like 2 hours I played pool, fuseball, and ping pong with paul and then Stacey Abby and Abby's friend and Paul and I were playing piano then I snuck away to take a shower. Then we went to dinner. Then we had an hour to do whatever. so Paul Travis Lynn and I played pool, we played three games and I was awful for all of them. then just Paul and I were going to play but before we started Lynn and Paul each gave me a pointer and after that I creamed everyone. it was funny how fast I changed. after a couple games it was time for the session. and we had some songs and stuff. but they did the everything skit. it was amazing I cried of course. Then I cried during the two following songs. after the session we went off into the mountains just you and god they turned off all the lights in the camp. it was so quiet. so beautiful. you could hear the creek, see the outline of the mountain, see millions of stars. the only noise you could hear, besides the noise of nature was people crying. I got done early and was walking around it wow like hearing all those people crying was just amazing. Then a group of people somewhere starting singing hymns. it just sends chills through me. when that time ended we had cabin time. which we all cried through, Then we had a bonfire. also Travis started calling me snoopy at first I thought nothing of it but then I realized that he doesn't know thats my nickname.

So far today Stacey, Paul, Pat, and I went on a walk. Then Paul and I played pool. Pat and I were singing anyone else but you. just one line. the one that goes here is the church and here is the steeple we sure are cute for two ugly people I don't see what anyone could see in anyone else buuut yooou do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do dooo buuut yooou times like 50 we sang it over and over again for at least a half hour. Then I came back to the cabin and had breakfast in bed. Then Cassie and I did our nails. Thats all we've done so far. also here are a few thing I don't want to forget. While we were at the airport we were talking about Hannah Montana and was just like did you know Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus are the same person? he was totally serious. then later at the airport something happened and nick touched Darren's leg and Darren was just like "you touched my inner thigh" so now when something sweet or touching happens we say you touched my inner thigh alol. Today was amazing. we finished the stories that those 5 people were telling. and the were true! I was surprised. I thought they were just acting. it was great and after the session we had cabin time. probably one of my favorite cabin times. that or the one where we were all sobbing. then Cassie, Tom, Paul, and I played pool. Then I went shopping. Then we started getting ready for the formal. It was sooo much fun! We had a great dinner and everyone looked beautiful. we had steak and stuff. :] lol after the formal we had our last session. Todays our last day and I'm soooo sad :(

Surprisingly this has been one of the hardest days of my life. saying goodbye to all these people. one of the most surprising things to me is how close I can grow to people over such a short amount of time. After the Florida group left I cried. Its going to be such a long time before I see them again. Cassie and I were just at the airport crying. I talked to Darren for most of the ride. plane ride that is. at the airport we saw one of our servers Julianna she said she was one of the judges for the cleanest room competition and the only reason we didn't win was because the group that won had a stuffed animal that said I love you.
There was a lot I left out of this. Mostly things involving other people. I had a lot of deep convos with people and I don't think I should write about them on here..also just some other things I left out cause they weren't important...so yeah...:]
